MetalAce 28F Imperial English Wheel

Constructed of cast iron, and featuring a generous 28" throat, this machine works for body panels, motorcycle fenders, aircraft parts and more! The toughest small-frame english wheel you can buy, the Imperial 28F provides ample working room for any contour, any job. With our large line-up of shaping wheels, you can even add the finest detail with finesse.

Our latest design allows for both 2" and 3" wide lower anvils to be used with this machine. The wider lower anvils are well suited for working with thinner and softer materials such as aluminum, which require less pressure to form. The narrow anvils are great for forming steel since their smaller width delivers higher forming pressures. The smaller width wheels, espcially our specialty anvils, are also useful when working on smaller pieces.

Imperial 28F English Wheel Capabilities
•Mild steel capacity of 16 gauge, 1/8" aluminum
•Features can be rolled into the center of a 55" panel
•Rigid cast iron frame provides a sturdy, vibration-free platform for your job
•Frame is shaped to facilitate clearance for panels both upward and downward contours
•Screw lift assembly has a quick-release cam mechanism that lowers the anvil yoke with a 90-degree rotation of the control handle When rotated back to operating position, the original pressure setting is re-established (pictured below)
•Anvil yoke is adjustable on both sides of the axle support with thumb screws so the anvil wheels can be trued with the upper wheel
