The Multitool with the Jet 1 HP grinder is just about impossible to stall or even slow down even when doing heavy grinding on metal parts. I am totally impressed with this tool and it is becoming one of my most favorite tools in my shop. For years I had a 6in X 48in floor belt sander. I was constantly shredding belts. The Multitool is two years old and I have yet to shred a belt. They just wear out but do not shred. I have been using the belts I purchased from Van Sant. I use the grinder in the horizontal position. This gives me a top flat surface, the rounded end wheel and the flex of the belt on the underside.
